Discover the Undiscovered
A variable frequency drive is a type of motor controller that drives and electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the electric motor. Inverter circuitry is used to control the speed of the compressor motor, through a PWM technique so as to continuously regulate the temperature
Speed = 120*frequency / no. of poles
Today as we see around us we seldom find these drives attached with high power loads because lack of awareness . Because of the high costs of variable frequency drives people hesitate purchasing them so the demand is not that great. If we some how lower the costs and make people or user aware of its vast benefits we can build a big market. These days several projects are being done in this specific area in order to reduce cost , increase efficiency and performance and make it a more compact technology. Control techniques are becoming less difficult and dexterity involved . Our motive is to be focusing on single phase although it’s bit trickier than three phase VFD and maintain efficiency close to what we see in the ready made product

1. Improve motor efficiency
2. Reduce energy consumptions
3. Reduce energy costs
4. Control motor r.p.m.
